Marklynn Pools

Marklynn Pools is a Manchester pool business that says it was founded in 1956 by Oren Hazelton Stevens and is now run by the third generation of the Stevens family, Jeff and Melissa Stevens. By its own account it offers residential pool installation, commercial pool maintenance and repair, pool chemicals and safety covers. A recent customer thanked Jeff Stevens for "agreeing to installing the new liner that failed" and for covering a truck load of water. A recent customer who bought a 24 foot round above ground pool said the staff were knowledgeable about their questions before they decided to go with them. A 2025 customer said that after a pump and pool bot died, the company came out within two days, fixed everything and gave them a loaner bot. A 2025 customer had a filter installed and said the service tech, Josh, helped them learn how to use it and left everything clean. In a 2023 review, a customer said the company tried to repair an Aquacal pool heater, couldn't, and set them up quickly with a new Nirvana unit. A 2025 customer who hired the company for an inground liner replacement described an unsupervised crew, a worker smoking near the new liner, and a finished liner with wrinkles and issues with the shallow-end stairs. That 2025 customer said Jeff dismissed their concerns, that they never signed or received a contract until an unsigned one arrived after the work, and that Jeff took them to court and the case was dismissed. A 2023 customer said no one showed up for a pool opening scheduled for Memorial Day, and that a promised call to reschedule had not come more than a week later, even after speaking with the owner.
