Sterling Pool & Patio’s own website focuses on commercial pools: management and maintenance for property managers and HOA communities in New Hampshire. Based in Hooksett, the business also uses the name Sterling Pool Services and advertises leak detection, plastering and resurfacing, and seasonal openings and closings. It claims more than 55 years of commercial-pool expertise, dating back to 1970, lists Certified Pool Operator certification and offers free estimates. The customer accounts describe very different experiences. In a November 2022 Google review, one customer said Sterling found and repaired a substantial pool leak within half an hour. The same customer described having the filtration system automated and managed remotely, and using the company for spring openings and fall closings. They said that having someone else take care of the pool made it enjoyable again. An August 2025 Google reviewer complained about the worker servicing Bas Island Estates, calling the staff rude and saying the pool had remained filthy all summer. That reviewer would not recommend the company. Google shows a three-star average from four ratings.
The staff they have servicing Bas Island Estates is incredibly rude and has no idea what he’s doing. Our pool has been filthy all summer and I wouldn’t recommend them to my ex-husband let alone anybody else.!!!😳👎🏾
Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our pool had been losing so much water that it almost wasn't worth keeping open. Sterling came in with a machine that looked like a metal detector, and within half an hour had found and repaired the leak. Since then, we've had them automate our filtration system and manage it remotely, and use them to open and close the pool each spring and Fall. I'd forgotten how enjoyable a pool can be when I'm not the one taking care if it.
