I am a contractor in the metro west area. I have worked with many sub-contractors in my 22 years of business, including many electricians. I recently hired Marty's Electric Co for a kitchen/bath renovation. Steve was very professional, meticulous and was great at communication around scheduling and pricing. He is a very easy person to work with and listens to what is asked of him, along with offering clear suggestions where snags appear in renovations. I am using him on our current job and plan to do so in the future. If you are looking for an electrician who is dependable, responsive, thorough and trustworthy, this is your guy.
We recently completed a major kitchen renovation and Steve Dougherty of Marty's Electric was our electrician. Without hesitation, we highly recommend Steve and Marty's. Steve was very methodical and precise with all the work he performed. He found low profile, under-the-counter outlets and installed under cabinet lighting both of which are barely visible and which resulted in a very clean look throughout the kitchen. He moved lighting fixtures throughout the dining room, capped off several outlets no longer in use, installed a new circuit box, hooked up a new gas range extraction system, worked with the plumbers on the under floor heating, and helped to install multiple appliances. It was a pleasure to have Steve in our home. He is methodical, clean, professional, courteous and reliable. We will absolutely call Steve for any future electrical work in our home!
