MARY MCKENNA & ASSOCIATES, INC.

Mary McKenna & Associates is a Winchester architecture practice whose one documented homeowner account centers on a substantial kitchen change: in a February 2018 review, Nadine Y described enlarging the kitchen, opening the living space, and improving the view into the garden. The firm presents itself as an architectural design practice serving residential, renovation, addition, and custom-home projects, with kitchen design among its listed services. That review also describes the architect as artistic, experienced, and a good listener, and says the finished home and garden were beautiful. The written history is necessarily dated: the only quoted review is from 2018, while Houzz displays a 5.0 rating from one review and seven projects. Before booking, clarify whether the firm is being engaged for design only or for broader project management and construction coordination. Its listed work spans architectural drawings, space planning, sustainable design, home additions, custom millwork, and furniture, so the scope and the handoff to builders should be explicit. This looks suited to a homeowner seeking design-led kitchen or home-renovation planning in the Winchester/Boston area.
