Mass Junk

Mass Junk is a junk removal company that says it has been in business for 19 years and lists Boston, Cambridge, Newton, Waltham, Lexington and nearby towns as its service area. Attics, basements and garages are the spaces its own site says it clears. A recent customer said Will, the owner, had a team led by Jose at the house within a few days, and that they cleaned up every last piece of scrap. A recent customer said Mass Junk cleared 7 truckloads from a basement, attic and garage over two days, with a crew of 6 workers and 3 dump trucks, and called the price quite fair. A recent customer wrote that the owner gave a quote based on pictures they sent, and that the company has removed refrigerators, yard waste, old flooring and plasma TVs for them. A 2026 customer said it took 70 minutes to clean out a 2 family house. A recent customer said communication about arrival timing was poor and that they were charged $300 above the quoted rate after everything was loaded into the truck; that customer added that the owner reached out afterward to see what he could do. A 2024 Reddit commenter in r/Waltham wrote that on the day, the crew boss charged double what the owner quoted.
