Mast Electric works out of 4 Sprague St. in Peabody, taking on the kind of small electrical jobs a handful of HomeAdvisor customers have written about — fixture swaps, wiring fixes, panel work. All seven ratings on HomeAdvisor are five stars, and the ones with detail point to the same thing: showing up fast and doing what they said they would for the price quoted. In a 2022 review, a homeowner described hiring Matt from Mast Electric to swap a stuck pull-string light fixture, only to find hidden, out-of-code wiring behind it — the crew still held to the original quote and left the kitchen clean. Customers writing in 2023 mention the same pattern: prompt communication, accurate time and cost estimates, and fitting in a smaller job on short notice. There isn't much else to go on yet — no BBB listing, no verified license, nothing stated about emergency service. Worth asking directly about licensing and scheduling before booking, but for a straightforward wiring or fixture job, the reviews on file are a clean, if limited, track record.
Prompt and easy communication, an accurate estimate of time and cost, able to fit in this smaller job on short notice, light fixtures look and work great. I would use Mast Electric again.
Prompt, professional, quality work, and reasonably price. Will use again and would highly recommend
We hired Matt from Mast Electric to replace a pull-string light fixture that was stuck in the on position. The project turned out to be much more complicated than originally anticipated because the prior homeowner had hidden outlets that weren't up to code under the fixture. Matt still honored the original quote, replaced the light and fixed the improper wiring. He left our kitchen spotless. We will definitely hire him again.
