Matos Carpentry

We had an outstanding experience working with John Matos and the team at Matos Carpentry. John and his crew are incredibly skilled carpenters who take real pride in their work. They completed some challenging finish carpentry on our property, including a complicated staircase, extensive custom trim work, and the detailed trimming of a cupola. Everything came out beautifully and exactly as it had been drawn and designed. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship were exceptional. Just as importantly, John and his team were professional, clean, punctual, and dependable throughout the project. John is also an incredibly kind, thoughtful, and smart business owner who understood what needed to get done and found a way to make it happen. What impressed me most was that after most of the other trades had finished and left the project, John came back and helped us work through a final punch list, even though much of it went beyond what he originally needed to do. He really helped us finish the project off in style. I would highly recommend John and Matos Carpentry. They do beautiful work, are extremely professional, and are genuinely great people to work with.

Matos Carpentry did an excellent job in our home. Joao and his crew built a beautiful custom built-in cabinet and shelves in our living room and the craftsmanship was outstanding. They also installed crown moulding, baseboard moulding, and a new door between our mudroom and garage - everything came out perfect. Joao and his team were professional, skilled, and great to work with from start to finish. Their attention to detail and quality of work really stood out. I highly recommend Matos Carpentry for any home improvement project!

Amazing job!! These guys are the nicest,polite and clean crew there is they did outstanding work making special cuts for my trim work. Definitely recommend John and his crew they will tell you what you need and get it done in a clean professional manner

Highly recommend. I called last week to request medicine cabinet install, 4 smoke detector alarms and kitchen kick boards installation. Joao called and booked a date/time within a week. He texted twice to confirm timing and he and his worker were spot on time. They were kind, efficient and did a great job! 5 stars!
