Matthew’s Carpentry

Matthew’s Carpentry is a residential carpentry shop serving homeowners who want cabinet work to change the feel of a room without rebuilding the entire house. Its own website highlights kitchen cabinet refacing, custom cabinetry and trim carpentry, while Houzz lists kitchen and bathroom remodeling, cabinet refacing and trim carpentry; directories place the business in West Bridgewater and Newton Center, Massachusetts. The recent customer story is unusually consistent: four Google reviews from August 2026 describe a kitchen remodel, kitchen cabinet refacing, bathroom-vanity refacing and a Wilmington kitchen update. Homeowners mention careful workmanship, useful design suggestions, punctual arrival, reasonable pricing, tidy work areas and professional communication. One reviewer says the bathroom vanities looked brand new after refacing; another credits Matthew’s suggestions with giving an outdated kitchen a modern feel. The work described is concentrated on cabinetry and finish carpentry rather than a broad multi-trade renovation record. Before booking, ask whether your project is a cabinet-focused installation or a full room remodel, who handles any plumbing or electrical work, and what materials, finish details and warranty are included in the written scope. Matthew’s Carpentry looks like a sensible fit for cabinet refacing, custom cabinetry and trim projects where finish quality matters. Confirm the site address, project boundaries, schedule and change-order terms before work begins.
