One Braintree homeowner's June 2024 list of what Tim had done for them runs like this: revamped the kitchen, turned the porch into an all-season room, put a new roof on the house, repointed the foundation and replaced every window. An April 2024 customer put it more plainly — he is more of a general contractor than a handyman. Tim Heroux has run the business out of Braintree since 2005, by the company's own account and by the Better Business Bureau's listing of the sole proprietorship, working South Shore homes. The jobs land in two camps, and he takes both. In a June 2026 review, Eddie built a new staircase for a back deck and replaced a completely rotted section of railing, leaving the yard spotless; another June 2026 customer had the porch eaves blocked off to stop birds nesting inside. At the other end, a January 2026 reviewer had a major roof project finished the previous fall and says it has been a relief through the rain, wind and snow since, and an April 2024 review credits him with a whole-house remodel — a new kitchen, two bathrooms, stonework outside and new stairs. A May 2025 customer, ten years in with him, says he once came out in the middle of the night on an emergency call. What comes up over and over is that he shows up. A 2024 homeowner with a leaking roof had the crew there the next day and the leak gone; a screen porch in August 2024 was started the day after the call and finished faster than expected; and a May 2025 customer was given an honest timeline, then got the job early when the materials came in ahead of schedule. On money, an April 2024 reviewer says he will try to save you some money where he can, and will make it right if something is off. He also gets called in to clean up after other people. A March 2024 customer who had been through a run of contractors who left work unfinished or done badly says Tim took on fixing the poor workmanship. For a South Shore homeowner who would rather have one number for the rotted railing, the leaking roof and the kitchen they have been putting off, this is that number. The crew is small and its members get named — Eddie, Blake, Bruce — so ask who will be on your job, and for the larger work put the scope and timeline in writing before it starts.
