Brett has done floor installs and finishes for many years. He is meticulous and detail oriented and cares more about his work than I actually did. I have been a local builder of very expensive high end homes and when it comes to those clients there is only one person in my Rolodex I trust with these clients and it’s Brett.
Brett is the best at his craft. Look no further if you’re wanting to have new wood floors installed or refinished. He matched our existing wood floors perfectly and left the completed rooms spotless.
I can't say how much I appreciated Bretts professionalism and the excellent job of installing a hard wood floor in my bedroom. He completed the work in a timely manner. No short cuts. He is a perfectionist and his work shows the passion he has for flooring.
Brett and his team at MB Kubisek did an outstanding job refinishing the original pine floors in our eighteen ninety home in Old Lyme, Connecticut. These floors were incredibly delicate given their age, and Brett’s decades of experience really showed. He walked us through every finish option, explained the process in detail, and clearly knew exactly how to handle antique wood without damaging it. Much of the work was done by hand with real care and craftsmanship you don’t see often anymore. Brett was communicative throughout, gave us a very fair and reasonable price, and coordinated seamlessly with the other subcontractors on our renovation. He and his crew serve the entire Connecticut shoreline and have experience across the state, so if you’re looking for a true flooring craftsman in Old Lyme, Essex, Old Saybrook, or anywhere along the shoreline, we can’t recommend him highly enough. Five stars, without hesitation.
