M. C. Sawyer Building and Restoration is a Plymouth-based remodeling and restoration company, in business about 12 years, run by Michael Sawyer Jr. A BBB review raises a serious concern: a customer says the company took payment for a remodel and then walked off the job, a dispute that went to small claims court and was decided against the business. Given that, anyone considering hiring them should get a signed contract with clear payment milestones and check references carefully before paying anything upfront.
"REMOVED Sawyer / MC Sawyer REMOVED did a Remodel at our house. He took a substantial amount of money that we had paid him and decided after receiving the money to WALK OFF THE REMOVED We took him to Small Claims Court we won the case."
