Separately, BuildZoom flags a 2009 North Andover permit (BP2009-271, 337 Sharpners Pond Rd) on which all fees were doubled because the work had been done without permits; the permit was then issued with a $2,387 fee. That is seventeen years old and resolved, but it is a matter of public record and worth asking about. One more wrinkle: several permits on the same profile name "McCormick Kitchens Inc" as the party doing the work, so part of that 64-project history may belong to a related company under a different name. If you are considering them for a kitchen, the first question is the license: ask for the current registration number and check it yourself with the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs before signing anything, and ask for recent local references — there is no customer commentary out there to lean on.
