McDonald Well & Pump is a well and pump company from Kingston, NH, and much of its work starts with a house that has no water. A recent customer said Michael installed a well and pump in about a day and tied in their irrigation system at 38 GPM to get around an exterior water ban. After losing all water mid-shower, a recent customer called at 6:45 AM, and Mike picked up and walked them through a step-by-step fix over the phone until the water was back on. On a complimentary house call a few days later, he found their 21-year-old pressure tank needed to go, and a new one was installed. A 2024 customer said the well pump died at 9pm on the 4th of July; McDonald came over the next morning, quoted thousands less than the large local plumbing companies, and installed a new pump, water tank and valves. A 2024 customer wrote that Mike tried the same box another business had said was fine, the water came back three seconds later, and thanked him for not pushing to replace a well pump that was 24 years old. A 2025 customer said Mike and Kelly replaced their well tank on a Saturday and helped with the warranty when the original installer would not back a tank only 2.5 years old. A 2023 customer said they changed out the well pump and pipe on a Sunday and fixed some electrical problems in the house, for less than any other well and pump business had quoted. A 2021 customer said they wanted more work done but found no way to contact the company.
Thank you to Michael and his wife for solving our exterior water ban problem fast and professional. Michael installed a well and pump in about a day and tied in our irrigation system at 38 GPM! He accommodated us on the schedule, provided insight, education and expertise - with awesome response time.
Exceptional service is hard to find these days, but McDonald Well & Pump delivers exactly that. After losing all water mid-shower, I called at 6:45 AM and was shocked when Mike actually picked up (I was fully expecting voicemail at that hour)! He diagnosed the issue over the phone and patiently walked me through a step-by-step resolution until my water was back on. He followed up with a complimentary house call a few days later and identified that my pressure tank was officially of "legal drinking age" (21 years old!) and needed to go. The installation process for a new pressure tank was seamless — Mike and his wife are professional, honest, efficient, and leave a clean workspace. Five-star service from start to finish!
There’s nothing worse than waking up and find you have no water. That’s how our Mother’s Day stared. I searched our local area and found McDonald Well and Pump. Their reviews were spot on - great honest service, reasonable prices and quality workmanship. If you are looking for a great local find, you will be thankful you called.
This team is nothing short of amazing. Capped my well 20 years ago, replaced my water tank 2 years ago and today replaced my well pump from panic call to finish in hours. Honest, friendly, fair pricing and comfortable to be around. Highly recommend!
Not even a question about the efficiency and reliability that comes with calling McDonald Well and pump. Lost my well pump and had it back within a few hours. Great price and great service.Recommend Micheal and Kelly from McDonald Well& pump1000%
