Painting deadlines — May 2025 customer said a strict timeline was met
Decks, house exteriors and bedrooms feature in customers' accounts of Metacomet Painting's work. A July 2026 Google reviewer described an exterior re-staining job, praising the care taken and the team's effort to stay within the estimate. In a May 2025 review, a deck customer described thorough preparation, board replacement and meticulous work using two different stains. That customer also praised the pricing and responsiveness.
The company advertises interior and exterior residential painting, staining and deck refinishing, alongside geometric murals, power washing, wallpaper removal and shelving installation. It offers free estimates and says it is insured. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active under Metacomet Painting, LLC.
Customers have also described repairs around painting projects. In a March 2026 Google review, a bathroom-ceiling customer said Marc provided a transparent, fair quote and Kevin worked quickly, addressing the underlying vent issue rather than simply covering mold damage. A February 2026 reviewer said Marcus and his team repaired a wall and ceiling after a leak, leaving a finish that concealed the earlier damage.
An August 2025 Thumbtack reviewer praised a bedroom painting job from preparation through cleanup and found scheduling easy. A May 2025 reviewer described sanding and painting a worn metal bulkhead door; another writing that month said the company met a strict house-painting timeline. Google lists a 5-star average from 22 ratings, and Thumbtack lists 5.0 stars from 12 ratings.

Metacomet did a wonderful job re-staining the exterior of our home. They were thorough, reliable, and accountable. They put care into each piece of the job and went above and beyond to stay within the very reasonable estimate. Our home looks good as new and we're proud to recommend them as talented, kind, and conscientious professionals.
I hired Metacomet Painting to deal with mold damage on my bathroom ceiling. Marc provided a transparent, fair quote and Kevin got to work quickly. They didn't just cover up the problem; they fixed the underlying vent issue so I won't have to deal with mold again. Fast, efficient, and high-quality work, 10 out of 10!
