Interior and exterior painting of new homes features in Michael J. Cain Custom Painting’s customer accounts. In a December 2023 Google review, a customer said the company had completed both kinds of painting for two new-construction homes they had owned, praising attention to detail and competitive prices. The business is based in East Falmouth. Another customer, writing that month about a newly constructed home in Falmouth, described Mike as responsive and accommodating throughout the painting process. A December 2025 reviewer described Mike and his son working quietly, respecting the property and returning each day until the job was finished. That customer said trim at very high roof peaks had made the job difficult, but the painters handled it without trouble. In February 2025, another customer praised well-explained estimates, the price and help choosing colors, particularly Harbor Gray for a bedroom. That reviewer also described the company’s workers as prompt, neat and fast. A June 2024 customer hired Mike to repaint the exterior of a home he had originally painted when it was built. The reviewer praised surface preparation, product selection, regular communication and finishing as promised. In an April 2023 review, Falmouth Homes LLC said Cain had painted several new and remodeled homes for them and accommodated their schedules.
Mike and his son are extremely easy to work with. You would never even know they are working-very quiet, very respectful of property, and a thorough paint job. They show up each day until the job is finished. Mine was a bit difficult with trim at very high roof peaks but they had no problem. Extremely congenial as well! Highly recommend.
My house never looked so good! Mr. Cain was very easy to deal with. Estimates were well explained and his price was very good. I get complaints regularly on how great my rooms all look. Mr. Cain was also very helpful and knowledgeable with picking and finding color choices. My personal favorite is the bedroom with Harbor Gray color in it. Mr. Cain was a great help and love the choice. His company workers are prompt, neat and very fast at their trade. The only complaint I have is that I have run out of things to paint. I would recommend Mr. Cain’s painting company 100%. .
Fantastic local cape cod painting Easy to work with professional skills .
I have quite the unique property, several large structures and a full size lighthouse. Mike was able to tackle it with ease. Did a great job and didnt skimp or cut corners. Really takes pride in his work to do it right and for a fair price.
It was such a pleasure to have Mike paint the exterior of my home. He had been the original painter when this home was built and I was determined to have no one else touch it! Needless to say, he is an excellent painter who always goes above and beyond to prepare the surfaces, select quality products, and finish the project as promised. And he makes it a point to maintain regular communication with his customer throughout the process.
