We are currently working with Michael. His ideas are very innovative and match with our needs. Michael is very easy to work with especially with our crazy schedules. He has delivered everything we have asked and on time. I am very excited that we choose Michael and look forward to the finished product. We will begin construction in October.

After seeing so much beautiful and well executed work done around our seaside town by Michael McCloskey, my wife and I were happy for the opportunity to benefit from Michael's vision and guidance on the first of what we hope will be more projects to improve our Marblehead, MA home. We knew we needed something and when we explained to Michael that we didn't know what wasn't quite right, he immediately knew exactly what was needed. He gave us a workable plan and guidance along the way as we began the process of 'finishing' our home. Our first phase involved started by adding missing trim elements that were never installed by the homeowners before us who had done some extensive renovation, changing the homes color pallet and finish choice to one that more elegantly fit our historic community. Simply changing the scale of the trim we were using to make it all align proportionately was a huge improvement. In the process we were able to change from fast growth wood prone to rotting to modern synthetic materials that will be maintenance free for years to come. Michael was supportive and although his talent could have allowed him to simply dictated what was 'right', he made sure that our own desires and concerns were heard and considered as he formed his recommendations. Through the whole process he was considerate of making sure that the value of what we did was in line so as to avoid unnecessarily wasting funds. A total pleasure to work with and a true professional.

Great Architect / Design firm My firm won the bid several years ago on a truly amazing project in Swampscott Ma and Mike was the Architect , the design was spot on and the homeowners were completely satisfied.

Having grown up in Marblehead, Mass. I knew the in's and outs of finding the right home to move back to after 15 years in Boston. We did 3 1/2 years of open houses and my wife and I finally found a place to call home. We wanted to give it a few upgrades. I went to Michael and McCloskey Design Group, straight away. Mike was visionary in his concepts for optimal spacial usage and design. We removed a few walls and sorted out the WC and bedroom. My home wouldn't be my home without their help. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and the effort to conceptualize what both my wife and I had in mind and made a solution to please both of us. - Ian
