Midtowne Plumbing & Heating presents itself as a family-owned plumbing and heating company based in Westford, serving residential and commercial customers across Massachusetts. The company says it has operated since 1991, with licensed master plumbers and gasfitters handling repairs, installations, remodels, boilers, water systems, and gas lines. Homeowners repeatedly describe prompt emergency response, clear explanations, and practical repair work. Reviews mention clogged drains, burst pipes, sump pumps, faucets, bathroom fixtures, water heaters, boilers, gas fittings, filtration systems, and tankless Navien installations. Several reviewers praised Kris and his team for same-day or within-the-hour arrival, fair pricing, clean work, and explaining options without upselling. One January 2026 review raises a concrete issue with a whole-house filtration installation: the reviewer said a PEX connection initially leaked and the work was sloppy before correction. Ask how difficult filtration projects are inspected after installation and confirm scope, price, and warranty in writing before work begins. Midtowne suits homeowners who need responsive plumbing or heating repair, replacement equipment, or larger residential projects and want a local Westford team with a long operating history. Confirm the technician, equipment model, follow-up coverage, and final inspection for complex installations.
Kris and his team were great. I was in a pinch and needed prompt service. Even though he had a full schedule, he heard me out and then shuffled his schedule to help me. He showed up promptly, fixed my issue, and provided a very fair price. Thanks again for the help!
Be careful on difficult projects...hired them as Kris was responsive and sold me on his professionalism (they were tied with the highest price out of three bids I received) but when the whole house PH filter was installed, it was done sloppily at first with leaking PEX connections and they had to come back to reroute and use proper materials. Fast forward 9 months and a problem was discovered that the filter was installed BEFORE the sediment filter and was effectively gumming up my entire water supply and i had no water pressure. When I called to ask what can be done, the father came out to look and diagnose the issue (super nice guy BTW), but my subsequent phone call with Kris was met with "I did what you told me to do" and it would be another $2400 on top of $1700 i already paid. Not sure how a homeowner is responsible for showing how to perform a proper install? Either way, I'm having it fixed right now by another plumbing company for half the price and a much better/cleaner job. I'm in sales and the worst thing you can do is to leave a client hanging...whether or not you think it's your fault. It's a few hundred bucks in materials and ALL labor time. Live and learn...

Excellent work! Great communication, helpful and thorough. I had a leak in my humidifier furnace and they first helped me assess over phone, then came to help remedy the leak and explained to me my options. Fast, thorough, and very professional. Highly recommend!
