The people who hire Marcos most often are other builders. A general contractor wrote in July 2026 that Mindset is one of the best in the business — licensed, reliable, work always clean and up to code, showing up when they say they will and communicating with his clients. A design-build firm said in May 2026 that having reliable trade partners is essential and Mindset has been one. A realtor refers her clients. Boston Irish Construction subcontracted a job to them in May 2024 and noted that Marcos had the pre-start paperwork in on time and started on the agreed date. Mindset Electrical Contractors works across Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Brookline, Newton, Waltham and Quincy, on houses and commercial buildings, and describes itself as licensed and insured with 24/7 emergency cover. Marcos runs it; customers also name Matheus and Matt on the tools. The jobs run the whole range of a building's wiring. In May 2026 a Needham homeowner had large sections of the first floor and attic rewired and a new bathroom enabled, on time and to specification. In August 2026 a customer mid-renovation had fixtures installed, ceiling lights repositioned and outlets put into technically awkward spots. In June 2026 someone had a pool heater connected and an outdoor ceiling fan replaced; in July another had a panel upgrade and called the price the best he had seen. A November 2025 customer had hardwired smoke detectors, lighting, power and ethernet outlets and an EV charger done in one go, and a March 2026 three-family renovation meant three kitchens and three bathrooms. Speed comes up as often as the work itself. A September 2025 customer texted and had a crew on the way that afternoon. A November 2024 customer called on a Saturday, Marcos came within the hour to look, and the outlet went in on Monday. A March 2022 Thumbtack customer got a site visit inside 48 hours and the new dryer circuit finished the next day. Clean-up comes up nearly as often — an April 2025 customer described the crew vacuuming and putting everything back where it had been. There is a lot of this and it is recent: 46 Google ratings, 40 on Thumbtack, eight each on Angi and HomeAdvisor, fifteen of the written accounts from the last six months. Thumbtack's average sits at 4.7 rather than 5.0. For rewiring, a panel, recessed lighting or an EV charger anywhere in Greater Boston, this is the crew other contractors put on their own jobs. The company describes itself as licensed and insured — ask for the licence number and the insurance certificate in writing before the first day.
Fanatastic. I’ve worked with Marcos and his team for several projects now and they are awesome to work with. Honest , reliable , and great work!!
Marcos & his team at Mindset Electrical did some amazing work at our home as part of a major renovation. They installed multiple light fixtures, repositioned ceiling lights, and installed outlets in a few technically difficult locations for us. The picture light in particular had a difficult mount setup but they installed it beautifully. Definitely recommend working them!!
