Mint Development Group is a Quincy, MA design-build firm that lists kitchen and bathroom remodeling, additions, and new home construction among its services on Houzz, Angi, HomeAdvisor, and BuildZoom, along with a LEED AP certification. Its own profiles disagree on how long it has been in business — a badge on Angi and HomeAdvisor says 7 years, while its About text claims more than 15. Its Massachusetts general contractor / home improvement contractor license (#195273) was verified revoked by the state contractors license board on April 13, 2026; the license had expired December 6, 2023. The one customer review on file is from 2019: the homeowner names designer Kara and credits her with understanding their budget and delivering results they couldn't have achieved on their own, though the review doesn't describe the specific project. Given the revoked license, confirm current registration with the Massachusetts contractors license board before hiring, and ask directly about the discrepancy in how long the company says it's been operating.
I have already recommend their services. I feel I got pretty lucky finding Kara. She came in and did an incredible job with my project. I would not have been able to do anything close to what we accomplished without her expertise. Kara understood my budget limitations and found ways to accomplish what I wanted but still stuck within my budget. She finished it the way I wanted without having to scale back on anything else - which was nothing short of amazing. She was very dedicated to what I wanted and passionate about completing it to my satisfaction. It was a refreshing experience and I would recommend her services to anyone. I have already given her information to some of my friends for them to use as they move into their homes.
