I have hired Mike and his crew in the past so when my husband and I needed a contractor for some home improvement projects, he was the first person I thought of. Mike is known for his expertise and knowledge. He will also tell you the truth and discourage anything that he thinks will cost too much or won’t work in the space. He gave us a fair price and when he had work overruns, he was fair with that as well. The work speaks for itself. We hired him to replace a back entry door and install a door at the top of our basement stairs. His finish work matched our home and his electrical and paint contractors finished the job and did not cut any corners. My dad was in the construction business and he always said that it was important to him to leave a job cleaner than it was when he got there. I have decided that Mike has the same mantra. He also is not happy with the work until it is done precisely and to the homeowners’ request. We will be hiring him again in the fall to complete an en suite makeover of our first floor.

Mike and his crew replaced my windows, slider, and back door, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the work they did. Mike is meticulous with his work and clearly communicates every aspect of the project, with detailed progress updates. Mike can take a difficult or questionable task and make it unproblematic, straight forward and appear effortless. Once your project begins, it remains his priority from start to finish. Mike displays great pride in the work he has chosen to do; along with friendly approach, intense attention to detail, promptness and passion from start to finish. I can’t say enough about the work that Mike and his crew do. Mike was able to completely transform the living room in the house by taking out a fireplace and adding a bay window and shelves. Recently we hired Mike again to repair a leak in the roof. Mike shows up on time, completes all work in a timely manner and is extremely pleasant to work with not to mention extremely neat. We will never work with another contractor again. I would highly recommend MJH for any work/repairs that need to be done on your property.

My first review but not my first time working with MJH Construction. They replaced interior doors, exterior windows, exterior stairs and hand rails, garage door framing, driveway, etc. If they couldn't do it, they found reliable contractors to help. I could talk all day about them but I will let my photos of their most recent work do the job for me. Thanks guys!
