MJM Designs Custom Carpentry & Remodeling

MJM Designs Custom Carpentry & Remodeling is a custom carpentry and remodeling company based in Winchester, Massachusetts, self-described as a 20-year team offering framing-to-finish work — custom woodworking, cabinetry, built-ins, shelving, molding, and kitchen and bath renovations. Angi and HomeAdvisor listings put the company's experience at 18 years, slightly under the company's own 20-year claim. The company is BBB-accredited with an A+ grade, and its Better Business Bureau listing describes a broader general-contracting scope — additions, roofing, siding, windows and doors, and garages, in addition to interior and exterior renovations. A Houzz project page shows one completed job: a Boston closet converted into a full bathroom with a stand-up shower, tub, and custom vanity. The written review record is small and dated — two Angi reviews, both from 2021. One called Matthew professional and easy to do business with; the other described the work as detailed and beautiful. Angi and HomeAdvisor both show a 4.8 rating from those same two reviews, both five stars. MJM looks like a capable choice for custom carpentry, cabinetry, and bathroom or kitchen renovation work, backed by an A+ BBB rating and two positive 2021 accounts, though anyone hiring today should ask for more recent references given how little written feedback has accumulated since.
