Modern Time Construction

Modern Time Construction is a family-owned tile installer based in Saugus, working in ceramic, porcelain and natural stone with 30 self-reported years of experience, according to Angi — though Porch describes the business more broadly, listing trenching, kitchen remodeling, exterior remodeling and green building rather than tile work specifically. The written record on file runs from 2006 to 2008. In a 2008 review, a homeowner described Joe tiling a bathroom in a single day, working around a flexible schedule and leaving the site clean. A 2006 review is a single line of praise with no detail. But another 2006 review raises a real concern: a homeowner said Joe completed about 70% of a small bathroom retiling job, was paid half the agreed price, and then stopped responding to three messages over two weeks, leaving the homeowner to finish the job themselves. Worth asking directly about project completion and payment terms before hiring, and confirming references given how dated this written record is.
