The biggest one on file is a $1.1 million Burlington addition from 2023; a 2024 permit in North Billerica covers a $302,000 addition with a new kitchen and deck. That is structural work, taken on by a two-person shop. Small is literal. The BBB lists two employees, names Steve Morrison as owner, and dates the LLC to a June 2015 incorporation. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. It has been BBB accredited with an A+ since February 2019, and BuildZoom scores it 98, above 84% of licensed contractors in the state. Homeowners write about two things: outdoor work and additions. In a May 2026 review a repeat customer described an old deck demolished and rebuilt as a two-zone 'summer oasis', one side for entertaining and one opening onto the pool. An October 2025 reviewer credited Steve and Tim with running an addition and communicating throughout; another that spring paired a kitchen remodel with an addition. A review carried on Birdeye also recommends the company for remodeling work. Two things to pin down before signing. There isn't much written — six Google ratings, three of them carrying any text — so ask for references on a job the size of yours. And the tenure claims don't line up: the BBB has the company at eleven years from that 2015 incorporation, while BuildZoom's own write-up says over seventeen and its permit list reaches back to 2009. BuildZoom also shows an older home improvement registration, 160608, as inactive alongside the current one. For an addition, a deck rebuild, or a kitchen where someone has to answer for the structural work, this is a credible small builder with real permits behind it. Ask which registration and insurance certificates cover your job.
