Moveinit is a small Burlington moving outfit where the owner is usually the man carrying your couch. Kenny Nestor's name turns up in nearly every review of the company — on time, blankets over the furniture, a bed frame rebuilt in the new bedroom — and on LinkedIn he says he is a U.S. Navy veteran who served from 1992 to 1994. The praise is consistent and unusually specific for a company this size. Customers writing through 2021 and 2022 described a move booked on two days' notice that still went smoothly, boxes and furniture arriving exactly as they had left, and prices they called reasonable. One 2021 customer moving from Malden to Saugus singled out how carefully the crew handled fragile pieces; another that year had a bed taken apart and reassembled at the far end. Two accounts cut hard the other way, and they are the ones to ask about. In March 2023 a customer wrote that the company had cost them thousands of dollars, called it the most abhorrent experience across more than ten moves, and told others to spend their money elsewhere. Five months earlier, in October 2022, a different customer said Moveinit never turned up on a confirmed moving day — roughly ten unanswered calls before word finally came, late in the afternoon, that the crew was tied up. There is also a timing problem worth naming. Google currently shows 4.7 stars from 36 ratings, but the written reviews on file run only from 2021 to early 2023 — nothing since describes how the company operates now. The good reports and the bad ones are all several years old. A reasonable call for a local household move where you want a small, owner-run crew rather than a national van line. Get the date and crew size confirmed in writing before you book, and since the company also offers storage, pin down in advance what insurance covers anything of yours that sits in it.

“Kenneth Nestor from MOVEINIT MOVING AND STORAGE”
“It means a great deal to the moving business because our target audience is 60% female. With that being said ,having females on our team gives our customers a chance to relate to their needs.”
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Ken and his team are extremely unprofessional and have cost me thousands and thousands of dollars. I have never had such an abhorrent experience with a moving company and I have moved over 10 times. Please spend your money elsewhere. I am so incredibly disappointed in this business and Kenneth Nestor, the owner. I had stored all of my belongings with him and his company for over a year while I was abroad and due to a pipe burst in his storage facility, all of my things have been ruined. Ken promised to give me insurance forms and I would be reimbursed for everything, but he is now ignoring all means of communication. All of my emails to him are bouncing, texts and calls remain unanswered. I should have known they were unreliable when they showed up hours late on packing day with no communication. I also paid for all of my storage time upfront, due to expire in August 2023, so I am out that money as well. Additionally, when I had scheduled my things to be picked up in early Feb. 2023, the storage address they gave was incorrect and Ken was unreachable, so I had to pay for an attempted pickup fee of 750$ out of pocket, despite him confirming that he and his team would be there. So not only have I lost all of my belongings, that I will not be reimbursed for, I will also have to refurnish my apartment with money out of my own pocket. All of this is absolutely unacceptable and I am at a loss for words. You are better off using any other moving company.
Recently used this company for my move. Kenny (owner) was on time, courteous, and treated all my things with respect and care. I’d also like to add that Kenny is a Navy Veteran, and I always enjoy supporting veteran owned companies. Will use this moving company again!
There should be a “0 star” option. I see all the 5 stars and while Kenny seems to be a really nice guy, he isn’t a great businessman. Perhaps he was just having an off day, but he totally ghosted us on our moving day. Granted this was months back (I try not to write a review when angry). Our move was confirmed for a Friday. We called him at least 10 times with no response. He finally reached out to us and said his crew was tied up at which point it was around 3:30 p.m. Then our next call said he was injured on the right side of his body. This was a scheduled early morning move. When he finally showed up, he was alone with a small bandage on the left side of his hand. It was late evening. We expected a crew of 4. Our children’s (1 and 3 year old) beds and cribs were dismantled and everything was packed away. I just cried. We were luckily able to get another company to help us move the following Monday.
This was by far the best experience I’ve had with movers. Unforeseen circumstances resulted in us needing to move on short notice. I called Moveinit Movers and Storage with only two days notice. Kenny is professional, communicative, and a genuine guy who went above and beyond. He and his team truly made a tricky situation go by smoothly and seamlessly. There were no damages to any of our belongings and they took great care of everything. I’ve never had movers who took impeccable care of my bed frame in the 7 times we have moved. I would highly recommend Moveinit Moving and Storage on your next move.
Highly recommend, movers were very professional and efficient. Everything was packed very securely and the whole process was quick and painless.
