MSC General Services works out of Everett and calls itself a family-owned company that will take on anything from a simple repair to a full home renovation. Its Houzz page bears that breadth out: six posted projects, with kitchen remodels making up most of the photos, alongside siding repair, decks, bathrooms, hardwood floors and cabinets. What isn't there yet is a customer voice. Houzz still shows the invitation to leave the first review, so what you're looking at is a portfolio and a service list rather than a history of finished jobs judged by the people who paid for them. Coverage is unusually wide for a shop this size — Greater Boston out through the North Shore, with Marblehead, Nahant, Salem, Lynn and Peabody all named, and more towns listed than the page shows. This is a call worth making if you want one contractor to handle a mixed list of jobs rather than a specialist. Before you commit, ask for its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration number and for the addresses of two or three of the kitchens in its portfolio.
