My Cousin Vinny's Junk Removal

An apartment’s worth of unwanted belongings was removed in half a day, according to a July 2026 customer of My Cousin Vinny’s Junk Removal. A June customer said the business got back immediately and provided pickup within 24 hours. Another customer, writing in April, had hired Vinny twice: once for junk removal and once for moving. They praised speed and communication on both jobs and called the price reasonable. The company describes itself as locally owned and says it serves Cape Cod and nearby South Coast communities. It lists Falmouth, Mashpee, Hyannis, Sandwich, New Bedford and Plymouth among its service-area towns. Its advertised work includes residential and business junk removal, cleanouts, yard and brush cleanup, furniture moving, appliance and mattress removal, hot-tub and couch removal, shed demolition and light demolition. Google lists it at five stars from 272 ratings. In a July 11, 2025 review, a customer with two rooms of furniture to remove said they had contacted several other businesses before Vinny’s. They praised the price and said the furniture was picked up a couple of days later. A separate July 8 customer described a quick text response with a quote, an appointment scheduled within 24 hours, an on-time arrival and a large amount of junk cleared from their basement. Heavy furniture has also figured in dated jobs. An August 2023 customer said Vinny’s crew moved a heavy, intricate piece from a second-floor storage unit to their home. In September 2023, a customer said Vinny and his partner removed several heavy pieces of basement furniture through a bulkhead entrance. A June 2023 customer said the team returned after a call about water found in the basement following a removal. The water turned out to have come from the customer’s dog spilling a bowl. An April 2025 customer reported an incomplete job after a remote estimate based on photos and a description. They said the final price more than doubled, forcing them to cut the job in half without an opportunity to prioritize the work. The customer said charged-for items were left behind, the garage door was left open and valuable non-junk belongings were exposed to rain.
