The company says it has done local solar since 2009 and that President and CEO Andrew Wade has led it since 2014. A recent customer described working with Derek from the first meeting through the install and a final review of the completed project, and said the panels are working great. A 2026 customer said another company pressured them to cut some trees, while My Generation was informative but not pushy, no trees were harmed, and the job finished ahead of schedule. A 2026 customer said the company recommended tree removal and a panel layout to improve performance, coordinated all required town inspections and left tidy cable runs. A 2026 customer wrote that four years after installation, a problem with the Powerwall or Gateway drew a response right away after hours by email and phone, with someone being sent to check it despite roads in bad shape from the blizzard. A 2025 customer said the company was not the least expensive option, used its own team instead of subcontractors, and that the installation took about two months. A 2023 customer said their system was installed 3 months ahead of schedule and that Derek handled the local town permitting and the issues with National Grid for a home about an hour from the Cape. A 2023 customer said the company had installed two solar arrays on their house over ten years and responded to their every concern about the first.

My Generation Energy was the easiest company to work with from start to finish. There was no pressure to add our solar panels, all out questions were completly answered. And we had a rave review from a trusted local who hired them previously. I can't recommend them enough.

I'd been thinking of adding solar panels for awhile, but decided to move quickly on it last year for the tax credit. After looking at a few companies, I picked MyGeneration, and they were excellent, from start to finish. They really worked with me on the the front end to explain different options and design a system that worked and was what I wanted. Another company was really pressuring me to cut some trees, but I did not want to. MyGeneration was informative but not pushy. The installation went great (no trees were harmed!). Every person I worked with along the way in installation was on time, friendly, and did the job well. Great communication along the way, and they finished ahead of schedule. The system has been working great, and I'm really glad I did it. Would highly recommend them for home solar panels.
These guys are incredible. Here we are four years after installation and there's a problem with either the Powerwall or Gateway, and they responded right away after hours via email and phone and are sending someone to check it out even with the roads in bad shape from the blizzard. I can't imagine using any other company. Abe and the rest of the team are top notch.
