Nathan Griffith General Contracting & Building

LOVE these guys! We had always used another contractor—and still think highly of him—but for our kitchen and powder room renovation we wanted multiple bids. After calling Marissa, we scheduled an estimate with Nathan, and from the moment he arrived we knew we were in excellent hands. He showed up prepared, on time, and genuinely listened to both my husband’s and my ideas. What truly sets Nathan apart is that he never dismisses your vision. He doesn’t make everything into a huge ordeal—he simply evaluates whether something can be done and then figures out how to make it happen. I also appreciated that his contract covered labor and materials, but I was free to choose and purchase all of my own finishes. Nothing was limited. Whatever I brought home, he worked with beautifully. He is SUCH a talented and smart man. Our project was not simple. It involved resizing the bathroom, adding and moving windows, and reworking structure, plumbing, and electrical. On top of that, our subfloor was in terrible shape and had to be completely rebuilt. We reused most of our 40‑year‑old cabinets and added a few new ones from Lowe’s, and thanks to Nathan’s carpentry skills, the entire layout looks seamless. He even built the banquette of my dreams—now my favorite spot in the whole house. We were also lucky to have Cole and Luca on the team. Cole is a precision carpenter whose work on the windows and exterior patches is flawless—you’d never know anything was changed. Luca is multi‑talented, but his tile work is exceptional. My backsplash fits so perfectly that you’d never guess how much measuring and cutting went into it. All of this came together because of Nathan’s meticulous planning and attention to detail. We joked about how “lucky” we were that everything aligned so well, but it wasn’t luck—it was Nathan. On top of being incredibly skilled, Nathan is patient, kind, and just a joy to have in your home. I genuinely missed him and Luca when the project wrapped up. Marissa is also a delight to work with, and Nathan’s subcontractors (electrical and plumbing) were professional and punctual. Poor Nate—I’m already hoping he’ll take on our master suite renovation next year. He might run, but I hope he doesn’t!

We love our new kitchen by Nathan Griffith General Contracting and Building! Their craftsman skills, work ethic and job performance was impressive throughout the project! They were quick to respond to our inquiry for an estimate, and carefully reviewed our space to ensure all work was estimated upfront. Nate and his team followed through creating a beautiful new kitchen while being wonderfully attentive to detail, communicative, and always considerate of our home and occupants. I highly recommend Nathan Griffith for all of your needs, inside and out!!

I met Nate & Marissa because our pipes burst. My mother was extremely difficult, the insurance company slightly less so and it was a nightmare until I met Nate and Marissa. They treated our small house like their most important job, and us like their most valued clients. I spent a lot of time on the phone with Marissa, troubleshooting, laughing and crying; she kept me sane. The entire team was friendly, hardworking and helpful. They disposed of a ton of trash, replaced two toilets and some flooring for free, our home was cleaner than we left it, and the boxes that waited for us when we returned said, "Welcome Home." I cannot recommend them heartily enough. Their workmanship is excellent, but their values, ethics and kindness make them extraordinary. I am so grateful for all they did for me.

Nate Griffith's team are some of the best people we've had do work in our home. Trevor and Nicole did an amazing job with our en suite bathroom remodel. They were prompt, respectful of our home, efficient, did great work, and were pleasant to be around. When future projects come up, we will for sure be reaching out to them again. It's hard to find contractors that you can trust the craftsmanship, the value, and are generally respectful, good people - Nate Griffith's team is succeeding on all fronts.

Nate and his team built us a beautiful back deck, so we asked them to come back and they did two small bathroom renovations. They were professional, respectful, and really nice to work with. We are very happy with their work, and would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable contractor.
