New England Homecrafters, Inc

New England Homecrafters carries a BuildZoom Score of 98, built on 30 permitted projects on file dating back to 2012, and holds an A+ Better Business Bureau rating (though the company is not listed as BBB Accredited). BBB lists the company as a Newton Upper Falls, MA general contractor established in 1988, run by a single principal, Jeffrey R. Riklin. Its Houzz profile lists home remodeling, additions, custom home construction, garages, porches, decks, and energy-efficient and green building, serving dozens of Greater Boston towns. Licensing is scattered across several numbers: Houzz lists license #043253 for the company, while BuildZoom's records separately show older Newton-issued licenses under #117025 (general contractor and electrical contractor categories) and #43253 (residential builder and building contractor categories), plus a Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor registration, #102868. None of these is confirmed here, so ask to see a current, valid license before signing anything. New England Homecrafters looks like an established option for additions, remodeling, and custom home projects across Greater Boston. Confirm which license number is current, and ask for recent references and proof of insurance before signing a contract.
