“Newtown Pools services pool heat pumps”
“We used Newtown Pools. The dude was a total asshole after construction started and rarely returned phone calls or texts. Do not recommend.”
Terrible service. I pay nearly $4,000 for biweekly service, so I expect a consistently high level of service and responsiveness. Unfortunately, whenever I’ve had an issue, I’ve had to call 5–6 times just to get someone to address it, and even then, I often have to repeatedly remind them or follow up. It’s extremely frustrating and feels like there is very little concern for customer satisfaction or retaining long-term clients. At this price point, I expect better communication, accountability, and service. The overall experience has been disappointing, and it genuinely feels like they don’t care about maintaining the business or keeping their clients. If you want a pool service that is well worth the money this would not be the company I pick.
DONT DO IT! YOU PAY UP FRONT! They built our pool and for about 10 yrs they were a reliable and quality service. However in the past few years both their quality of work and reliability have worsened leading to this summer where they left us hanging for months on a repair, failed to come for their bi-weekly service, admitted their fault when we complained that their service was non-existent and unacceptable, promised to come weekly instead to make up for it and then disappeared entirely. You pay up front for the season too so they have essentially stolen from us and I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau as well. SAVE YOURSELF.
I have been using Newtown Pools for the past 4 summers. Tim and the crew there are great. I use them for the opening and closing and visit the shop for water testing 1-2 times a month. I changed over from Nejame and Sons when I realized the bag of salt Nejame was charging $55 while Newtown Pools charges $20 for the same thing. The guys at Newtown pools are trustworthy and great local guys in town. They also provide weekly cleaning services if needed.
Pool opening service was great, they were on time and did a great job. Had an issue with the filter pump and Pat worked on it to resolve the issue and reinstalled the pump. Pool is up and running and looks great.
Very rude and disrespectful towards customers. Stay away. Not worth your time.
