NH Tap is a residential water treatment company based in Milford, New Hampshire, owned and run by Keith McDonald. The company installs whole-home water filtration, PFAS removal, water softening, reverse-osmosis, UV and radon-removal systems for both public-water and private-well customers across the state, and is a listed provider with the NH Department of Environmental Services. Google rates the business 4.9 stars from 271 ratings, and the track record is deep and consistent: 209 reviews from 2021 through 2026 across four platforms, with 34 in just the last six months and none of them negative. Reviewers repeatedly name the same field technicians -- Scott, Connor Winslow, and Marcus -- for arriving on time, explaining the system clearly, and leaving the work area clean; several describe measurable results, from resolved arsenic and iron levels to eliminated chlorine taste and PFAS removal confirmed by follow-up testing. A 2023 Union Leader profile described a Londonderry family able to drink their tap water for the first time in four years after an NH Tap installation, and the company has been covered for its no-cost PFAS-Free Program, which files paperwork and covers upfront costs for homeowners seeking NHDES reimbursement. One notable exception sits in an otherwise glowing record: a 2025 review alleged the company's free water-test results were inflated compared to another tester's results a few days later, and that its quote ran roughly double other companies' pricing for a comparable system. Homeowners considering a larger install should get a second water test and a comparison quote before committing. New Hampshire has no statewide licensing requirement covering water-treatment installation itself; NH Tap's own site states it keeps licensed master plumbers on call for more complex jobs, but that claim comes from the company's own site rather than a state registry. For homeowners dealing with New Hampshire's well-known water issues -- arsenic, PFAS, hard water, or iron staining -- NH Tap looks like an established, well-reviewed local option, especially given how often the same named technicians are called out across years of reviews.

“NH Tap proudly introduces its PFAS-Free Program, offering a unique no-cost solution to fix well water tainted by PFAS. As an NHDES-approved contractor, they worked with the government entity to offer a new way for homeowners to bypass the paperwork, the waiting period, and the payout that would need to be reimbursed. How is this possible? NH Tap takes on the task of filing the paperwork, covering the unit’s expenses, and receiving the state reimbursement for each filtration unit. This unique initiative by NH Tap gives homeowners, without thousands of dollars on hand, access to PFAS water filtr”
Scott and Connor were wonderful! Explained everything part of the process, extremely organized, friendly, thoughtful, and left the house exactly how they found it. Amazing people helping keep our family’s water clean. We cannot recommend this process enough.
I can’t say enough good things about Connor Winslow, the technician from NHTAP that came to service our water filtration system and water softener. Even my three dogs who bark at anything that moves, wagged their tails in his presence. Connor is an outgoing young man who was happy to explain how the water system works and how it should be maintained. His explanations were thorough and informative. Connor was professional in every regard and was an absolute pleasure to chat with. He is a credit to the company he works for and I hope they have the sense to promote him to a position in management. He is a hard worker, shows a great sense of ethics, and is one smart cookie. ConnorWinslow gets five stars for his high level of expertise and excellent service!
I have had nothing but amazing experiences with NH Tap! All of their employees have been professional, respectful, and intentional with their services. Connor W recently came to do annul maintenance, and he went above and beyond to ensure that everything was functioning safely and smoothly. He was very kind and answered any and all questions that I had. I would recommend NH Tap to anyone!
Connor Winslow from NHTAP arrived at my home on time. Even a little early. He called to let me know about what time he would arrive. He was a very pleasant young man and very polite. He changed the UV Bulb he came to change. He saw that I had 2, 40 pound bags on the floor that needed to be emptied into the water softener container. He asked me if I would like the 2 bags of salt added into the water softener barrel . He said he knew they were heavy and wouldn’t mind doing it for me. I quickly said yes please. Too heavy for me to lift. I really appreciated his thoughtfulness. These days not much of that in this world. I think this Company is very conscious about customer service. I for one really enjoyed the service Connor provided. Thank You, Joan L.
Conner Winslow was very respectful to seniors was in or home.
