North America Painting Co., Inc.

North America Painting is a Northborough outfit run by Nivaldo Desouza, who the company's own site says has been painting New England homes for two decades — "Celebrating 20 Years of Quality & Trust." The Better Business Bureau's records place the company's start even earlier, in 2006. It's a small operation, two employees per BBB, working residential and commercial jobs across Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire, plus interior and exterior painting and some trim carpentry. The five Google reviews on file, all posted in early 2026, describe a crew that shows up on time and protects the property while it works — one reviewer specifically called out the crew protecting landscaping and finishing on schedule, with sharp paint lines and close attention to detail. One reviewer, who identifies himself as a contractor and uses North America Painting for his own home, points to the prep work as the reason: "a quality job starts with the prep work and they don't cut corners." One thing worth confirming before booking: the Better Business Bureau currently grades the company an F, citing a "failure to have a required competency license." That reason doesn't match the state registry, which shows North America Painting Co.'s Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration as active, effective January 2026 — whatever gap the BBB is flagging looks to have closed since; worth asking directly to confirm the license covers the job in question. There isn't much of a track record yet, just five reviews, but what's there is consistently positive and specific about the crew's care with the property, and the owner is a two-decade fixture in the trade either way.
