Northeast Landscape Contractors has been maintaining lawns and building hardscapes around North Andover for decades — its BBB profile traces the business back to 1988, and it's carried a BBB A+ rating since becoming accredited in 2006. Today it's a 25-employee corporation run by president Mark Delgreco and treasurer Bruno Delgreco, offering lawn care, landscape design, hardscapes, irrigation, property maintenance, and snow and ice management from Andover and North Andover out to Haverhill and Lawrence. Most of what reviewers describe are long-running maintenance relationships rather than one-off jobs — customers mention sticking with the company for three, five, even twenty years, and praise the crew for showing up on schedule, communicating clearly, and handling weekly mowing and spring and fall cleanups without much fuss. A 2024 review of a retaining wall and backyard leveling project singled out that same steady communication on a bigger build. The flip side of that long tenure shows up in a handful of pointed complaints. A 2025 reviewer said the mowing crew repeatedly cut 10 to 15 feet onto a neighboring property despite markers being placed, and another from the same year called the owner dismissive when raised with him directly. A 2024 review from a nearly 20-year customer described being denied a one-day-late loyalty discount with no flexibility, and a 2022 customer said Northeast dropped mowing service the moment their home sale closed mid-contract, citing capacity for other clients. For an established Merrimack Valley crew handling routine mowing, cleanups or a hardscape project, Northeast has the staff and history for it — just confirm upfront how they'd handle a schedule change or a contract ending early, since that's where a few longtime customers ran into friction.
Always do a great job year after year!
Sam stopped by and provided a lot of info about there services we were happy that he took time to quote us and was very professional.
They mow my neighbors lawn and despite me planting bushes and placing rocks along the property line, they repeatedly mow up to 10-15 ft into my property, coming as close as 15-ft from my house (zoning is 30-ft in this area, so they should know better). They routinely mow over grass I’m trying to re-grow (because it gets often gets mowed twice as much as it should). They even mow on the complete other side of gardens that I’ve created. As someone who grew up working for landscape companies on the North Shore, I’m dumbfounded by their lack of attention to detail. I’ve spoken to some of the crews, but I’m not always home to stop them the next time. My wife has also spoken to crews onsite. My wife has even called their office in previous years. This has been going on for at least 3 years. Nothing has changed. It’s happened one too many times, so I’ve resorted to posting here so people are aware.
Very unprofessional the owner mark is rude and doesn’t care about his customers talked with his employees and they all agreed as well. Highly recommended to find another landscape company
Thank you to the team at Northeast Landscape for your thoroughness and hard work to build a retaining wall and level our backyard. The wall came out great and your communication before and during the project was excellent. We knew what to expect each day of the process and the crew followed through. We would definitely hire you again!
