Last year, 2018, 2-3 of Nuno’s employees worked extremely hard at my house over 2.5 months, a huge job! The guys were great, never on there phones, didn’t take (m)any breaks and I was completely comfortable with them. We even left our new house unlocked when went out so they could use the bathroom. Owner Nuno quoted me after going over everything that needed to be done. We agreed. As time went on it was suggested we add a few more things which increased the price. I had to repeatedly ask for an invoice. Month 3 comes and the work stops, nobody shows up, no calls. After a week goes by I start calling, texting and leaving messages. Finally after about my 10th message and threatening to contact a lawyer, Nuno calls to tell me he got hurt and was out of the country having surgery. His guys finish up, my yard is covered in hay (it was supposed to be sprayed...that’s what was discussed). I asked Nuno and he said good seed and hay was better, especially with a drought. He swore on his kids lives that if it did not come in beautiful (front and back yard), he would come back and redid it. I asked him about the few other things that were supposed to be done and included in the price and he denied the discussion, told me his guys worked many days at my house etc etc. I paid him the final check. I later discovered he never removed debris and did not fix a step he promised. I called and he said he would come back. He never did. Now it’s spring and my yard looks beyond awful. It looks like he put seed over gravel - all rock. I called 4x and left several messages, no answer/reply. My house burnt down 6/17....we have been ripped off too many times since and do not have extra money to pay someone else.
