NT Builder

NT Builder is a Watertown, Massachusetts building company aimed at the big jobs — new homes, additions and whole-house remodels. Its Houzz profile lists custom homes, house plans, framing and project management among its services, shows 10 posted projects and a 13-town service area. BuildZoom, which carries the company as Nt Builder Corporation at a Norwood address, counts seven permitted projects and gives it a BZ Score of 91. Both profiles name Nicholas Tan as the owner, and the company's site is ntkandb.com. BuildZoom also lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #206822, for the company. Look that number up on the state's home improvement contractor register before you sign anything. A sensible call for a ground-up build or a large addition rather than a small repair. Ask which entity and address the contract will be written under — the two listings differ — and ask to see one of the permitted projects and the names of the subs who worked on it.
