Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from NUZA Roofing Corporation. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.

NUZA Roofing Corporation is a Revere company run by Luis Nunez that's held a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration since incorporating in 2006, and BuildZoom's permit history shows 38 projects since 2017 — mostly strip-and-reroof and rubber-roof jobs — spread across Revere, Somerville, Malden, Brookline and Cambridge. The clearest account of what a project with them looks like day to day comes from a pair of 2025 reviews. One, from a repeat customer, describes a roof replacement they were 'guided through every step' of. Another, also from 2025, describes a kitchen cabinet and flooring job where the crew showed up when promised and handled details carefully. The most serious account on file is a 2025 review describing a roof NUZA installed in 2018 that failed and had to be fully replaced. The reviewer says that when they requested a refund, the company confirmed the workmanship issue but said the warranty had already expired and it wasn't responsible; when the roof later leaked, the reviewer says Luis promised a patch and the removal of leftover bricks, but neither their insurer nor other roofing companies they called for quotes could find evidence either had actually happened. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor license is active, and its Better Business Bureau page carries an A+ rating with no complaints listed — worth weighing against that one detailed account of an unresolved roof failure and warranty dispute. Worth a call for a roof replacement or gutter work given the license standing and years of permit history, but ask directly about workmanship warranty terms and get them in writing, especially given the 2018 dispute described above.
We hired Luis to help replace old 1960s kitchen cabinets and flooring in our tiny city apartment. He and his team did a spectacular job and the new kitchen looks stunning. Careful attention was paid to the details, the team showed up when promised, and any questions or concerns promptly dealt with. Overall a great experience and we would hire Luis again.
We’ve trusted Nuza Roofing with multiple projects, and they never disappoint. Luis is knowledgeable, approachable, and always quick to answer any questions. He guided us through every step, and the roof replacement on our home turned out beautifully. We’re extremely happy with their work and would recommend them without hesitation.
I had my roof replaced by NUZA in 2018, and just had to replace the whole thing again due to bad workmanship (which NUZA confirmed when I sent them a letter requesting a refund- they said the workmanship warranty had expired and they were no longer responsible.) In addition, when I called to tell them it was leaking, Luis said he would patch it and remove some bricks that his workers left up there. Neither my insurance company nor any of the new companies I called for a quote could find evidence of a patch, and the bricks were still there. If you decide to go with this company, get your roof inspected before the warranty expires so you can demand replacement under the warranty. Photos are from a six year old roof and the interior ceiling damage from the extensive leak.
