Many NW Pest Control customers are on a plan and have been for years: recent reviewers mention 20 years with the company and maintenance since 2018, and reviews from 2025 and January 2026 describe visits every three months. The Waltham company says it has been family-owned since 1975 and is in its third generation, treating insects, rodents, termites, bed bugs and wildlife for homes and businesses around greater Boston. Its most recent Google listing shows 4.8 stars from 171 ratings. Customers often name their technician. In September 2026, a customer said Tim came back three weeks after a mouse visit, found more activity and set more bait; another that month said Jude found two old bait stations left by a previous owner. An August 2026 reviewer said Nick treated yellow jackets under the eaves and activity stopped within a few days, and another had several wasp nests cleared from the walls of a stucco house. Two r/Waltham commenters recommended the company in September 2026, one saying it took care of a mouse problem. Some customers had real problems. A September 2026 customer who moved from Burlington to Woburn said the tick and mosquito sprayer calls and shows up without waiting for them to agree to a time, which matters because even the natural spray gives them migraines, and that the inside technician skipped the sticky traps they asked for. In August 2026, a 2-star reviewer said roaches were still all over the place. Another September 2026 reviewer first complained of $450 for two wasp nests and a two-week wait, then updated the review after the company responded quickly. In a January 2026 review, a plan customer said camera footage showed some visits lasting five minutes, and some scheduled visits not appearing at all, while they were still charged $140. A December 2025 landlord said a tenant's mouse problem went on for over a year and more than $1,000 before a new company found two entry holes in the basement. In September 2025, a 4-star reviewer who praised Paul said the company never did a detailed inspection for access holes, and a very large one was later found in the garage. A March 2025 reviewer said their apartment was left with beds upside down and belongings disturbed.
