Roof leaks, replacement shingles and winter ice removal are among the jobs customers describe hiring On Top Roofing to handle. The Millbury company says it has served the Worcester area since 2004 and provides residential and commercial roofing, metal roofing and siding throughout Massachusetts. It identifies On Top Exteriors as its network and names Worcester, Wellesley, Natick, Lexington and Newton among its service areas. Several customers describe repairs beyond simply laying new shingles. In a November 2025 Google review, a homeowner said the crew replaced 25 squares of shingles and the ventilation system, repaired 27 sheets of rotted plywood and prepared for fascia covering and new gutters that were still to be completed. They credited project manager Jefferson with keeping them informed. A January 2026 reviewer said Jeferson and Zane repaired chimney flashing and sealed exposed nails, resolving a Brockton roof leak that had been causing bathroom water damage. An August 2024 reviewer described a replacement completed in August and September 2023, including a rubber-roof section. They said Tim coordinated the roof installation with a separate siding and window contractor to address leaks caused by earlier workmanship, and that the roof still looked sound when they checked it almost a year later. Another August 2024 customer said foreman Matt answered questions while the crew protected hedges, a deck and a freshly painted bulkhead, moved furniture and restored it after cleanup. Winter service drew praise in February 2026. One customer described next-day removal of ice and snow without roof damage and considered the price fair. Another said the office returned a weekend message on Monday morning and sent workers that afternoon to clear their mother's roof. A July 2026 Reddit commenter recommended the crew after work on both their own house and their father's. Google lists 4.9 stars from 114 ratings, and BBB gives the company an A+ grade. There are also dated complaints. A January 2025 reviewer said an estimate never arrived despite repeated follow-up calls. A September 2024 Angi customer reported unannounced visits, initially incomplete work and a $200 additional bill after discussing another $100 to finish. A January 2022 reviewer said a quoted 100-foot de-icing cable installation with a thermostat ended after three months of back-and-forth with 75 feet of cable and no thermostat.
