Orleans Glass & Mirror is a family-owned glass and mirror shop based at 7 Commerce Dr in Orleans, Massachusetts, run by Dan and serving Cape Cod for framed and frameless shower doors and enclosures, mirrors, automotive and marine glass, and window, door, and screen glass. The two reviews Google shows are both specific and enthusiastic about Dan personally: one homeowner describes him removing old framed shower doors and installing new frameless ones at a competitive price with friendly service, and another describes a custom frameless shower install along with jobs the same week in Provincetown and Nantucket. Google shows a 4.6-star average from 11 ratings, and the Better Business Bureau grades the business A+ with no accreditation and no complaints on file. The company's own tenure claims aren't consistent across sources — its website says it has been in business since 1973 (53 years), its Houzz profile puts it in its "40th year," and BBB records the business as started in 1992 (34 years) — so the exact founding date is worth confirming directly rather than taking any single figure at face value. The public review record is also thin: only two review bodies are retrievable online despite the 11-rating Google count, so this read leans heavily on a small, strongly positive sample plus the shop's own self-description as a longtime Cape Cod family business. Homeowners considering a custom shower door or mirror job on the Lower/Outer Cape are the clearest fit here; anyone booking should confirm current pricing and lead times directly, since the available reviews don't speak to scheduling or warranty specifics.
Very nice job by Dan removing our old framed glass shower doors and installing new frameless doors. More than competitively priced. Very friendly service. And on top of that, our pup loved him!
World class glass shower installs. Dan is a legend, after he installed our custom shower he had multiple jobs lined up in Provincetown the next day and a few days after that did a custom shower in Nantucket. I asked him how expensive it was to bring the glass over by ferry, and he showed me a video of his company boat blasting across Nantucket Sound. I couldn't believe what I was looking at, but apparently he has made the Nantucket run for glass multiple times. Both Provincetown and Nantucket harbormasters know him well. If there is a more legendary and committed glazier anywhere on this earth I would be astounded to meet them.
