BBB lists an A+ grade and accreditation; Google lists a 4.6-star average from 188 ratings. Some customers described problems with contact and charges. The February 2025 customer said they received a senior discount but later found a 20%-off-materials coupon online that staff had not mentioned. They reported unanswered emails and said the person who eventually answered their call hung up on them. In an August 2024 review, another customer complained that the service department did not answer the phone, lacked voicemail and did not show up. A January 2024 Google reviewer alleged that a technician pitched a new system before inspecting the problem and charged $40 despite an advertised free estimate. That reviewer also said the receipt bore a different company name, Champion Garage Door, and a different phone number. A June 2024 customer, by contrast, said the company arrived when promised and made the repairs needed to get the garage door working again.

Our overhead door broke so I called Overhead Door because they installed our garage door. The technician was very nice but informed us we needed new springs and motor, so they had to come back with the parts. They came back the next day and replaced everything needed. They did give us a senior discount. I went on their website and found a 20% off materials coupon. Being in the service business for over 30 years I would have told a customer of any way they could save money. No one offered me information on clipping that coupon. After several emails that never got answered I finally decided to call. The woman that answered in no way cared about my concern and then just hung up on me. I would make sure you check their site before having any work done.
Service department has no one answer the phone & does not offer voicemail. They dont show up .
Came when they said they would. Made all the repairs needed to get garage door working again. Prompt and efficient...
DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY. FLIM FLAM OPERATION. TECHNICIAN DID NOT EVEN LOOK AT THE PROBLEM BUT LAUNCHED INTO A SALES PITCH - STARTED AT 850 DROPPED IT TO 650 THEN TO 550 IN 30 SECONDS TRYING TO SELL ME A NEW SYSTEM. WHEN I SET APPOINTMENT IT SAID FREE ESTIMATE. THIS PERSON WHO CLEARLY KNEW NOTHING ABOUT THE SYSTEM THEN TOLD ME THERE IS A SERVICE CALL FEE OF $45! I SAID THAT WAS RIDICULOUS FOR THE SERVICE RENDERED AND HE QUICKLY DROPPED IT TO $40 BUT WANTED CASH? I RELUCTANTLY PAID WITH A CREDIT CARD AND HE WANTED TO TAKE A PHOTO OF MY LICENSE? WHY? I REFUSED AND HE GAVE ME A RECEIPT WITH A DIFFERENT COMPANY NAME - CHAMPION GARGE DOOR- AND A DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBER AND NO ADDRESS??? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! BUYER BEWARE - I PAID $40 FOR A SALES PITCH. MY DOOR IS WORKING FINE AGAIN TOO WITH NO HELP FROM THEM!!
