Pann Home Services has been working on Boston-area houses for generations. The Better Business Bureau puts the business start at 1957 and its years in business at 69; the company's own account goes back further, to the Robert L. Pann Co. in 1952 and to Maurice Pann, who emigrated from England in the early 1900s. Michael Pann, his grandson, is president today, and the site says the next generation of the Pann family, Paula, has joined the management team. From 247 Salem Street in Woburn, with a second location on Inman Street in Cambridge, the 22-person company handles plumbing, heating, cooling and remodeling for homes and commercial buildings around the clock, covering Boston, the North and South Shores and Metro West. It has been BBB accredited since 1993 and holds an A+ there. On Reddit in September 2026, a Malden resident said Pann could definitely handle the range of work being discussed, and added that they are pricey. Both customer reviews on the BBB page are complaints: one about a service call that escalated into a far larger bill, the other saying someone there promises to get things done, apologizes politely and replies in reasonable time, but does not follow through. For a long-established shop that can cover several trades on the same job and pick up at night, Pann fits. Get a written estimate with the scope spelled out before anyone starts, and settle up front how a job that grows mid-way will be priced.
