Parker Septic & Drain describes itself on its website as a Martha's Vineyard septic and drain contractor offering septic repair and excavation, MA Title V inspections, drain cleaning, and trenchless pipe lining and coating. On Google it holds a 5-star rating from 26 ratings. A recent Angi customer said a root broke the pipe between the house and the town sewer, backing everything up into the main toilet and bath. They came early, dug up the pipe with a small backhoe until they found the break, repaired it, then replaced the dirt, grass and plants, staying late to be sure the job was completed. A 2022 customer said a sewage backup flooded the finished basement of a home they rent out, and that Matt picked up the phone on almost the first ring and was at the house within 20 minutes. That 2022 customer said Matt found roots blocking the pipe to the septic tank, dug up the pipe and replaced it, and worked until after 8pm so the tenants could use the plumbing. A 2023 customer said sewer gas had leaked into the home for months and their plumber could not find the source; Matt diagnosed the issue with a smoke test. Smoke came out of the laundry room drain, and that 2023 customer wrote that the contractor had forgotten to install a trap.
