There's very little written history to go on: a single detailed review, from 2023. The reviewer hired the company for two separate jobs on two properties — the first, they said, went smoothly and wrapped up within a month, and was a good experience overall. But they rated the whole engagement one star and said they would strongly not recommend the company, without spelling out what went wrong on the second job. With only that one review and no BBB complaint history to weigh it against, it's worth asking pointed questions and checking recent references before booking — the one account here is mixed, not a clean track record either way. This review has positive and negative aspects, although regretfully, I would strongly not recommend. The contractor completed two jobs on two of our properties. The first went off fairly smoothly and was completed within a month. Overall, it was a good experience. The second job began around early July of this year and ended two months later in September. Overall, it was a nightmare — fraught with unexpected challenges that slowed the contractor’s implementation timeline and appeared to test the limit of the contractor’s professional ability to work through the unanticipated problems. At times the contractor screamed and cussed at the owner and her daughter all within earshot of neighbors. He charged an additional sum outside the parameters of the signed agreement by the owner and contractor to compensate him for what he described as “downtime” — I.e., time lost on the job due to unforeseen circumstances. The owner decided to pay the additional sum as it seemed to be the only way that the contractor would give the owner the Town-approved Certificate.
