Pereira Complete Remodeling's three Houzz reviews split sharply: two describe the business taking customers' money and then not finishing the job, and one describes a shed restoration that turned out well despite some rough patches. In a 2022 review, a customer wrote that the company took a down payment and a payment for materials, then didn't buy the materials or pay its subcontractor - the reviewer said online research showed a pattern going back years. A 2017 review described a similar outcome on a full home remodel: the crew, working under a contact the reviewer named Julio, stopped showing up partway through, subcontractors went unpaid or received bounced checks, and the customer said they were out tens of thousands of dollars and still not back in their home months after the promised finish date. The third review, also from 2017, tells a different story: a customer hired the company to restore a 200-year-old garden shed, and despite finding more damage than expected once work began, the crew - again working with Julio - salvaged as much of the original material as it could and kept costs down; the customer called the finished shed beautiful. Houzz lists backsplash installation, wood floor installation and tile repair as services offered. Given how serious the non-payment allegations are, anyone considering this company for a remodel should ask for verifiable references from recent jobs and avoid a large down payment before confirming the crew and subcontractors are being paid as work proceeds.

He took a down payment, but didn't pay his sub-contractor, took payment for materials but didn't buy the materials. A quick online search shows he has bee doing this for years. Do not hire him, unless you pay only after work is delivered. He can't be trusted with a down payment.
I hired Julio and Pereira Complete Remodeling in April to do a remodel of our home. As of a few weeks ago I had to terminate our contract because Julio stopped showing up, he didn't pay his crew and also didn't pay or bounced checks to subcontractors. Please stay away from this company as I would hate for anyone to have to go through what my family has had to deal with since hiring Julio. Not only are we still not in our home after being told it would be done by the end of August but we are out tens of thousands of dollars trying to get things completed. Not to mention the work he has done is shoddy so that had to be replaced as well. Please, please, please do not hire!!!
We hired Pereira Complete Remodeling to restore our 200 year old garden shed. They were as excited as we were about the history of the building and helping us retain as much of the original aspects of the shed as possible. Unfortunately what we thought was going to be an easy reno, turned into almost a complete re-do. The shed had not been maintained and there was a lot of damage. Julio worked very hard to save as much of the old shed as possible. He used whatever he could to help keep the historic charm of the building. The interior walls were covered with the old boards and the old beams were reinforced inside. The shed came out beautiful!! Julio worked with us to keep the costs down as much as possible and even though we had a few bumps along the road, we are very happy with the finished project!!
