Peter DiMuzio Roofing & Gutter Repair

Peter DiMuzio Roofing & Gutter Specialist is listed in Lynn, Massachusetts, while a related Angi profile lists Cambridge. The profiles describe residential and commercial roofing, roof inspections and installation, gutter repair and installation, slate and metal roofing, siding, and home repairs; the Angi page also lists metal specialization, roofing repairs, 12 years of experience, and free estimates. The available customer account is a 2023 BBB review. The reviewer says Peter took a deposit in May, did not complete the job, repeatedly postponed it, and did not return the deposit, forcing the customer to hire another roofing company. BBB lists one complaint and a B rating, with the grade explanation citing failure to respond to that complaint. Before considering this company, ask for a written scope, payment schedule, refund terms, proof of current insurance, and references for comparable work. The profile claims broad roofing and gutter capabilities, but the only written customer account supplied here is negative and concerns an uncompleted job and an unreturned deposit. Confirm which address and business entity you would contract with, since the BBB and Angi pages show different Massachusetts cities. The listed services could fit roof or gutter work, but the complaint makes payment and completion safeguards essential. Use a contract that clearly states milestones and deposits, and verify current standing directly before hiring.
