Peter is an awesome builder.

Peter has completed several significant projects for us, including a kitchen remodel, 2 bath remodels, and a finished basement. My husband Larry and I are very very happy with the results of everything. We own an older home which has been expanded and remodeled several times. As you can imagine with an older home there were issues with sagging floors, inadequate support in multiple areas, etc.. Peter was very thorough during his inspection of our house, and ultimately added support beams and a lolly column in the basement to ensure our large open living room and second floor was properly supported. I feel secure knowing our home will be safe for decades to come. In addition, Peter solved a longstanding and recurring water leakage problem that 2 previous contractors could not solve. I would also like to comment on the excellent quality of the workmanship performed. Both Peter and the subcontractors he brought in did terrific work. The tile work in particular was excellent, as was the finish work. Thank you Peter!

Peter took on the major renovation of our cottage in Wellfleet just as the pandemic hit, and worked doggedly to keep the project moving through all the disruptions in approvals and inspections, supply interruptions and the challenging labor market. He worked with us collaboratively to refine our ideas, incorporated major and minor changes that we proposed as the project unfolded, and was always accessible and responsive; crucial for a satisfactory outcome given that we live four hours away and were rarely on site. Most gratifying was the care and creativity Peter brought to details, going above and beyond what was required to add elements that make the cottage homey, comfortable and appealing. For example, we milled wood from our property and Peter took exception care to pattern the mix of cherry and maple for the floors and trim, added small shelves and nooks in the kitchen to accommodate herbs and spices and conjured up storage space despite very limited closets. Since the renovation we accepted short term summer rentals and have been pleasantly surprised by the enthusiasm; the cottage is almost fully rented for the coming summer. All in all, working with Peter was real pleasure and we recommend him highly.

Peter Comeau is a highly knowledgeable and skilled builder. Besides being able to do most anything himself, he has a network of experienced subcontractors that he can call on. Peter takes his work very seriously. His diligence and attention to detail are exceptional. He worked closely with my wife and me, reviewing the pros and cons of every decision. Our project was a major renovation and expansion of a beach house, previously expanded in 1986. The end result was a big success, delivered on time in the face of Covid and multiple supply restrictions. You won't find a finer builder on Cape Cod.

Peter built a sun room addition to our house and renovated the barn including to add a car port. From design concept to execution, the project exceeded our expectations in every area. He is a superb craftsman with incredible attention to detail. Peter has a wealth of experience which he draws upon to offer alternatives and ideas or materials we might not have considered. We were extremely fortunate to have found Peter and highly recommend him to anyone seeking to build or renovate their home.
