Stone is where Dimitri's crews spend most of their time: front stairs, landings, patios, walkways. One customer had the whole set done at once in July 2026 — front stairs, landing and backyard patio — and wrote that the pride the team took in the craftsmanship was obvious from the first day. In November 2025, another had their front stairs rebuilt and called them beautiful. Dimitrios Marmanidis runs the company from Norwood, and by its own account it started small in painting, masonry and plowing before growing into a full-service general contractor working a 20-mile radius of Greater Boston — Westwood, Dedham, Canton, Newton, Needham, Milton, West Roxbury and Brookline among the towns it lists. The site puts it at 15 years in business. Several customers describe the work landing ahead of schedule. A driveway extension with pavers in May 2026 was in and out in under two days. In December 2025, a customer in South Boston wrote that Dimitri, Jimmy and the team turned a two-to-three-day job into one because they knew rain was on the way, and it was done well. A June 2025 patio started with an easy consultation and a simple cost breakdown, then demo and installation over two days. The range runs wider than masonry. Two customers describe bathroom renovations — one in February 2026 in an investment property, in budget and on time, and one in November 2025 in a house almost 200 years old, where the crew had solutions for the problems an old building throws up. In November 2025 a homeowner had the house painted and named Ray for the trim-paint suggestions and Juan for repairing existing damage. A July 2026 reviewer used the dumpster service instead: on-time drop-off and pickup, no hidden fees, the site left clean. On Angi and HomeAdvisor, where the company is listed as Dimitri's Painting & Masonry, the same 120 reviews average 5.0, and Google shows 5 stars across 14 ratings. For stairs, a patio, a walkway or a paver driveway, this is a crew whose customers describe them arriving when they said and finishing early. Ask for the written cost breakdown before work starts — the customers who mention one describe it as easy to read — and, for outside work, settle what happens to the schedule if the weather turns.
★★★★★ Best dumpster service I’ve used. On time drop-off and pickup, fair pricing with no hidden fees, clean trucks annd dumpsters, and they left the site spotless. Dimitri runs a pro operation. Highly recommend.
We couldn’t be happier with the incredible work Dimitri and his crew did on our front stairs, landing, and backyard patio. From the very first day, it was obvious that this team takes tremendous pride in their craftsmanship. Every single member of the crew was hardworking, efficient, detail-oriented, and genuinely kind. They put in long hours every day, yet never rushed the quality of their work. They kept the job site clean and organized, thoroughly cleaning up before leaving each evening, which we appreciated so much. What impressed us just as much as the finished project was watching them work together. I have honestly never seen a crew operate so seamlessly as a team. They work more like a family than coworkers, and it’s clear they have a great deal of respect for one another. That positive dynamic carries over into the experience for their customers and made the entire project enjoyable from start to finish. The quality of their workmanship exceeded our expectations, and they completed everything in what felt like record time without sacrificing attention to detail. Dimitri was professional, communicative, and clearly committed to making sure every detail was done right. I would not only highly recommend Dimitri and his crew to anyone looking for exceptional masonry work, but I would absolutely hire them again for future projects. We are beyond thrilled with the results and are so grateful for all of their hard work. Thank you, Dimitri and the entire crew—you transformed our home, and we couldn’t be happier!
