Pioneer Glass

Old wavy glass brought one customer all the way from Long Island to Pioneer Glass: in a September 2023 Google review, they said the shop had P3 wavy cabinet glass in stock and cut and fit it in an hour. A May 2023 reviewer restoring a 1926 Tudor in Alabama had replacement panes cut to an out-of-square opening. The Whitinsville glass shop says it is owned by Nancy Brunell and managed by her husband Dave, and lists shower enclosures, mirrors, insulated glass, door glass, screens and storefront glass, with a sister window-treatment store. Google shows 4.9 stars across 113 ratings and Houzz 4.8 across 17. Many customers come for shower doors: in a March 2026 review, a customer had two shower doors installed in one day, and a November 2023 customer said a custom door arrived in just under the three weeks quoted and fit correctly. An October 2022 customer had fogged glass replaced in nine windows plus a sliding door, and said one defective pane was reordered and replaced. In a January 2025 r/massachusetts thread, a commenter whose windows were fogging up wrote that Pioneer Glass was able to replace the glass without having to completely replace the entire window. Customers often name Jake and Dave. In a July 2020 Houzz review, a customer said that while replacing a mirror in a dresser hutch, the shop used staples that went through the finished wood; the shop called, apologized and refunded the mirror, but the customer said the solid-wood piece, over 50 years old, was ruined.
