What stands in place of reviews is a permit trail. BuildZoom shows 13 permitted jobs between 2008 and 2022 — kitchen, bath and basement remodels across MetroWest towns like Newton, Framingham, Needham and Wellesley — plus a $647,000 new-home permit in Medfield that was later marked cancelled by the contractor. BBB grades the business A+, and BuildZoom assigns it a proprietary score of 95, neither of which reflects any homeowner reviews. Two things to raise on a first call. Registration number 158573 appears on both the BBB and BuildZoom pages, but that is those directories' own record rather than a registry confirmation, so ask to see the current Home Improvement Contractor registration. BuildZoom also lists two City of Newton licenses under number 71588, both inactive and at one point cancelled. The pages also disagree on where the company sits: Natick on BBB, 143 Liberty Street in Haverhill on BuildZoom, while every permit is MetroWest. If you reached this business through a referral, the permit history at least shows real work getting pulled and closed out. Coming to it cold, confirm the registration, the address, and — given the single-employee listing — who is actually going to be on site.
