A closet light that should have taken 20 minutes took two hours: a 2017 customer said it ended up being completely rewired because of coding issues, and that the electrician did it all and cleaned up after himself. Power Trip Electric describes itself on Angi as a residential service electrical company that gives a firm upfront price and wears booties in the house. The same customer, in a 2016 review, said Jerry had installed a ceiling fan for them before, and that he stayed to finish a closet light that turned into a bigger job. A 2014 customer said George installed a ceiling fan on an angled beam in a post and beam living room, a job that took 4-5 hours longer than a typical fan installation. A 2014 customer said the electrician called about an hour before the appointment, walked through every item and gave a total estimate, then emailed the estimate and the final invoice right away. A 2015 customer said a $69 Big Deal ended at a total of $527, while adding that they had no issues with the ceiling fan or the work. A 2014 customer said they were charged more in the end because the job took longer. A 2014 customer said he arrived late, recommended replacing the ceiling fan box for around $269, and that they felt pressure to pay for additional work; that customer said they would not hire the company again.
He's so pleasant and easy going and cleans up after himself. I consider him "our electrician" he will get our first call every time. He is reasonable and honest and fair. The closet light ended up being completely rewired due to coding issues that we had no idea about and he did it all. a 20 min job turned into a 2 hour job and he did an amazing job.
Jerry is fantastic. We used him before for a ceiling fan install and we will use him forever. He's easy going, professional and cleans up after himself. I feel he does that "extra step" that a lot of people don't. I also know that he is a small shop so I don't expect "CALL ME NOW" service, unless I had an emergency. I needed a closet light done, which ended up being a bigger job. He stayed and finished it and cleaned up too. Love that. Thanks Jerry, you're our electrician as long as we live in RI!!! keep it up.

The service turned out fine. It was a lot more money than I thought it was going to be. The Big Deal was for $69, but I ended up paying a total of $527. I personally did not realize that electricians were so much money. The service was provided within a few weeks after I purchased the Big Deal. The service was completed within an hour or two hours maybe. He was not here long. The guy that came was very nice and he cleaned up all his mess. He explained everything he was going to do. Actually, it was going to be more than that, but I told him that that was way too much money. So, that is how we lowered it to five hundred and something. I have not had any issues with the ceiling fan or the work they did for me. It has nothing to do with the price; it is still the workmanship and the job itself. For the workmanship, I would use them again. For the price, I would not use them again, but I would consider using them again for a different type of job. The guy was really good. It was just too expensive.Show
He was very professional, quick, and he did a good job.
